We recommend that students

  1. To group up in 2-5 within a homeroom or year level
  2. To work on one of the following projects in groups
  3. To seek for advice from your subject teachers/specialists if there is any relevant research that involves different subject areas
  4. To upload project results to this place as a group. You can check this file on how to name your file for uploading.

建议同学们:

Project No.1 - Expressions based on BWYA Schoolwide Learner Outcomes (SLO)

项目No.1 - 基于世青学习者培养目标的表达

  • Step 1 – to brain storm about what you’ve experienced about the COVID-19 in the past weeks. You can start by making a list of what unusual things happened in your direct experience.
  • Step 2 – to look at the seven BWYA SLO and do you see any of your experience related to one of the seven learning outcomes? What is the one that you find the most connected?
  • Step 3 – to try to express your feelings about the COVID-19 by making connections to one of the SLO you identified in step 2.
  • Ways of expression: Creative writing in either English or Chinese, Drawings, Video clips, Posters, PPT, Blogs, and etc.
  • 第一步:头脑风暴,你在这几周都经历了些什么与新型冠状病毒有关的事情?试着列个清单,写写你亲生经历的那些不同寻常的事情。
  • 第二步:看看右侧的七项世青学习者培养目标,你的上述经历中是否和其中一项最有关?
  • 第三步:试着从世青学习者培养目标中最相关的一条谈谈你对这次新型冠状病毒的感受。

Project No.2 - Expressions based on the IB Learner Profiles

项目No.2 - 基于IB学习者培养目标的表达

Project No.3 - Thoughts through a MYP Global Context

项目No.3 - 基于MYP全球情景的思考

  • Step 1 – to decide on which MYP global context (listed in the form beside this column) indicates the area that you want to further develop your thoughts about the COVID-19.
  • Step 2 – to decide on 1-2 key words (you can think about some key concepts that your teachers used) in relation to COVID-19 and the MYP global context that you’ve selected in step 1.
  • Step 3 – to develop inquiry questions addressing both the MYP global context and key words that identified in steps 1 and 2. (examples listed beside this column)
  • Step 4 – to research and report
  • Ways of reporting: Academic report, Creative writing, Drawings, Video clips, Posters, PPT, Blogs, and etc.
  • 第一步:确定右侧所列MYP 全球情景中,你想围绕哪一条发展你对新型冠状病毒事件的思考。
