BWYA Receives International Recognition
The ACS WASC Commissioners have determined Beijing World Youth Academy meets the criteria for accreditation… ...The Commission looks forward to Beijing World Youth Academy's anticipated success and continuing improvement.
This was the fantastic news we received earlier this summer. Following an in-depth investigation and visit from the accreditation committee, BWYA now joins the list of 48 schools in mainland China to have acquired WASC’s approval. We have received full accreditation, effective until 2025 with a mid-cycle visit to be scheduled in the future. With more and more international schools in China claiming to have the highest standards of teaching, this external validation shows we truly are providing top-level education.
ACS WASC (Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges) was established in 1962, with the mission of assuring the educational and wider community of the quality of educational institutions. Originally working with schools and colleges on the West Coast of America, WASC now extends its services to approximately 5000 teaching institutions worldwide. (https://www.acswasc.org/)
