Alumni Stories – Sophie Zhang & Penny Zhang

Alumni Stories - Sophie Zhang & Penny Zhang

Sophie Zhang, class of 2022 and Penny Zhang, class of 2023 joined us for a very genuine joint interview where they both shared some meaningful stories about the BWYA community and some poignant advice for our young wolves. Take a look at the video below to see what they had to say!

Some of you may be worried about making new friends, whether that is when you go to university or go somewhere new. Sophie’s advice is all you have to do is approach the first person you see and ask questions. The chances are you will find a friend in no time.

Subsequently, it’s inspiring to hear how BWYA environment provided a conducive experience for Penny. BWYA will always be a home base for our alumni. She also mentioned about the value of participation in after-school activities and how it could help in the university.

Thank you so much to Penny and Sophie for coming into the school and sharing these thoughts with us. If you are an alumnus and are interested in coming back for a visit, please email us at alumni@ibwya.net at least two working days in advance with your name, a Tuesday date, and any teachers you would like to meet!
